  • Who is Target Professional Services?

    Target Professional Services is a specialist tracing company established in 1988. Target’s job is to locate people and try to contact them on behalf of third party clients: pension schemes, companies, individuals, investment administrators or legal professionals.

  • What should I do now?

    It is important that you call us as soon as possible. In particular, for ex-patriates, it is vital that we establish if your details are correct.

  • I spoke to you a while ago. How long will it be before my pension company gets in touch with me?

    Your pension company may not need to get in touch with you at this time. This is merely an administrative exercise to keep member data as accurate as possible.

  • I have already spoken to my pension company; do I still need to speak to you?

    The record we hold for you will be returned to your pension provider. If we haven’t updated your record it may not be correct on their database.

  • Can you give me information about my pension or investment?

    We do not hold any information as to the financial details of your pension or investment. Any questions or queries should go through your pension provider or investment company.

  • The person the letter is addressed to has died, should I inform you?

    Yes please. It is important that we find out that the person is deceased in order to update records. Also, there may be a next of kin that we would need to trace to whom may be entitled to some benefits.

  • The person the letter is addressed to no longer lives at this address, should I inform you?

    If you have information on this person, such as a forwarding address, please inform us so that we may contact them direct. If not please mark the envelope “gone away” or “not known at this address” and post in a mail box.

  • Why have you written to me more than once?

    If you have received more than one letter from us it is likely that you haven’t responded to our 1st or 2nd letter. It could also mean that we simply have duplications on the database or that you are a member of more than one pension scheme or have multiple investment accounts.

  • How do you have my details?

    Your basic details held on record by the Pension Scheme or Investment Company will be provided to enable us to identify a current address.

  • Why have you written to me?

    Our clients are primarily financial services organisations including Pension Schemes, Investments and Insurance. Legislation in many instances demands that the details they have for members and clients are accurate. Our role is to assist them in updating and amending any changes in circumstances.
