If you have received a letter from us, it is most likely because you are a member or beneficiary of a pension scheme, insurance policy, or investment portfolio.

As a specialist tracing agency, Target’s job is to locate and contact you on behalf of the administrators of these revenue funds. Conversely, your pension company may not need to get in touch with you at this time, and in such a case, Target’s role is merely an administrative exercise to keep member data as accurate as possible.

Pension Scams

Target Professional and mypensionID support the Pensions Scams Industry Group and the FCA’s ScamSmart campaign and work closely with your pension scheme to demonstrate our legitimate partnerships. While you may not be expecting to receive a letter on behalf of your pension scheme, the Pensions Regulator is now tasking them to ensure their members data is accurate and up-to-date and as such they have engaged with ourselves to trace and verify their members. Target and mypensionID will NEVER ask you for any financial details or information relating to the value of your pension, we are solely concerned with ensuring your address details are updated and returned to the scheme, so that you never lose track of the pension benefit due to you. Target’s biometric app mypensionID is the most secure way to ensure you never lose touch with your pension scheme and can simply update your details in the future. If you have any concerns about providing your details, please contact your scheme who will verify that Target and mypensionID have been engaged by them.

Please be advised that it is our Information Security policy to scan and destroy documents sent to us.  Please ensure that you only send a photocopy and never send us an original document as we cannot return documents to you.
