Counter Fraud Conference 2026

The Target Team returned for a second year to the much-anticipated Counter Fraud Conference held on the 26th February in Westminster, joining professionals from across the public and private sectors.

Based at Stand 28, the team spent the day talking to delegates about the role Target plays in supporting organisations to prevent and detect fraud. There was also an opportunity to take away a selection of Target branded backpacks and notepads.

The team thoroughly enjoyed the conference and the wide variety of topics that were discussed. Many talks focused on the advancement of identity fraud, the challenges caused by poor-quality data, and the growing need for collaboration across the industry. Some even highlighted the issues with relying entirely on automated solutions and having strong processes that can adapt to evolving fraud tactics. It was reassuring to hear these topics resonate with Target’s own approach that human expertise is key.

It was a worthwhile conference, offering the chance to hear and share perspectives from across the industry. One to look forward to again in 2027!
