Living Wage Accreditation
Target has been awarded the Living Wage Employer accreditation.
At Target, we are committed to ensuring that all team members earn at least a Real Living Wage. That’s why we are proud to announce that Target Professional Services is now an accredited living wage employer. We chose to become accredited to support this fantastic initiative and to proudly uphold our ethical standards.
Over 92% of our employees are above the Real Living Wage, based on Target’s internal pay distribution. Paying at least the living wage has had a positive impact on our team’s wellbeing and morale. It has allowed us to recognise and celebrate the value of every member of the team, no matter their role. We believe our staff deserve a wage that meets everyday living costs. That is exactly what the Living Wage Foundation supports, as it is the only UK wage rate based on the real cost of living.
This commitment aligns perfectly with one of our core values, which is respect. We strive to show respect not only to our community and customers, but also to our own people. We aim to go beyond simply paying a living wage by also offering development opportunities. Through mentoring, training and personal development plans, we want every member of our team to feel supported both personally and professionally.
